Six Thousand Years

2018

Six Thousand Years is an installation by artist Tavares Strachan centering his sculptural work the Encyclopedia of Invisibility. Strachan’s Six Thousand Years is one person’s attempt to unravel the Borgesian web, centering the artist’s monumental work the Encyclopedia of Invisibility. Its fifteen thousand entries describe people, places, objects, concepts, artworks, and scientific phenomena that are hard to see and difficult to ascertain.
